MODINAGAR, UP – The 2025-26 IWLF National Weightlifting Championships witnessed a masterclass in power and precision today at Yadav Farm House. The spotlight belonged to Manipur’s powerhouse, Maibam Martina Devi, who delivered a performance for the record books in the Women’s +86 kg category.
In an extraordinary display of dominance, Maibam Martina Devi swept the gold medals across Snatch, Clean & Jerk, and Total in both the Senior and Junior sections, establishing herself as the undisputed champion of the heavyweight division.
Senior Women’s Medalists
In the +86 kg Senior category, Martina Devi’s total of 249 kg placed her far ahead of the field. Meanwhile, the 86 kg Senior division saw a tight contest dominated by RSPB.
