In a fiery contest where grit, nerve, and flawless technique carved the path to glory, the men’s 88 kg category turned into a spectacle of strength and composure. India’s Sairaj Pardeshi rose like a true champion, electrifying the arena with an unforgettable performance. With ice-cool composure and steel in his lifts, Pardeshi executed a perfect 6/6 sweep—nailing all three snatch attempts and all three clean & jerks. His sensational display not only stole the show but also lit up the opening medal session on Day 5, etching his name among the stalwart athletes of the Commonwealth edging 1 kg more in total in Junior section than that of the Senior athlete of Canada.
