Khelo India Youth, Junior and Senior National Ranking Weightlifting Women’s League Tournament-2022 started at R.N. Resorts, Modinagar, Uttar Pradesh being held from 27 October to 2 November 2022 with 318 women athletes from 29 States and Union territories of India. Railway Sports Promotion Board and All India Police Sports Control Board is also amongst the fielding athletes in the above Competition.
44 technical officials who are International and National qualified referees are conducting the competition as per Technical & Competition Rules of International Weightlifting Federation.
This is the second edition of the Games, first being concluded at Rainbow International School, Nagrota Bagwan (Himachal Pradesh) on 22nd June 2022.
Akanksha Vyavhare of Maharashtra broke 3 new national records on the opening day of the competition in snatch, clean & jerk and total bettering her own total by 4 kg.
45 kg weight category will also conclude today by 6 p.m.
