K. Ishwariya of Tamil Nadu won Gold medal in 40 kg weight category in the first session of Asmita Khelo India Women’s Weightlifting Zonal Round League with a total lift of 102 kg followed by Sripada Srija Puli of Telangana who won Silver medal with a total lift of 85 kg and Vaishnavi Lashkari of Madhya Pradesh with a total of 59 kg.

2. Sripada Srija Puli of Telangana (DOB-12-7-2008) – Snatch – 40 kg, C&J – 45 kg, Total – 85 kg – 2nd place
3. Vaishnavi Lashkari of Madhya Pradesh (DOB-03-07-2010) – Snatch – 27 kg, C&J – 32 kg, Total – 59 kg – 3rd place
