PRESS RELEASE – RESULTS ON OPENING DAY OF KHELO INDIA SENIOR, JUNIOR & YOUTH WOMEN NATIONAL WEIGHTLIFTING CHAMPIONSHIPS-PATNA

Sunday, the 19^th February 2023, Camp – Patna (Bihar):- Indian Weightlifting Federation is conducting the 3rd Edition of Khelo India Senior, Junior & Youth National Women Weightlifting Championships-2023 at Patliputra Sports Complex in Patna Bihar. Chief Guests for the opening ceremony were Shri Raveendran Shankaran IPS, Director General, Sports Development Authority of Bihar & Shri Sahdev Yadav, President, Indian weightlifting Federation, both dignitaries were accompanied by Shri Arun Kumar Kesari , President Bihar weightlifting Association & Mr Rajneesh Bhaskar, Competition Manager for the event.

The competition will run across 5 days starting from 19^th February 2023 to 24^th February 2023.

The opening day will witness 4 medal weight categories as under:-

40 kg Youth Girls
45 kg Youth Girls
45 kg Junior Women
45 kg Senior Women
